BraunAbility's Annual Halloween on Wheels Costume Contest

BraunAbility is once again holding its annual "Halloween on Wheels Costume Contest". You have until 5PM EST tomorrow to submit pictures of your "wheelchair costume" for entry into the contest. Full Inclusion for Students with Disabilities

There was a time when people with disabilities were not allowed to be educated alongside everyone else in the public schools of the United States. Luckily, our schools have progressed and while they are not perfect in their dealings with students with disabilities, many students with disabilities are educated with their peers. Filmmaker, Dan Habib created a documentary called 'Including Samuel' about full inclusion of people with disabilities in U.S. schools, including his journey to have his son Samuel fully included in learning in a standard school environment. 'The Michael J. Fox Show' is Coming to NBC

While NBC is adding 'Ironside' to its lineup this year, a show about a crime-fighting cop with a spinal cord injury, the channel is also adding 'The Michael J. Fox Show'. In the show, Michael J. Fox and his stage family frequently address his Parkinson's Disease. On a positive note, the show displays that he can go back to work and is likely to address the day-to-day life of one living with Parkinson's to give viewers an impression of is affected by Parkinson's.
