Eye Tests May be Used to Diagnose Traumatic Brain Injuries in the Future

Researchers are finding that eye tests may be used to test for various ailments such as Alzheimer's, MS, and even traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Many individuals with TBI's have unusual movement patterns in their eyes while many also have sensitivity to light. In the future, eye tests may be able to diagnose TBI's due to the similarities between the tissue in the brain and the eyes. This may end up being a more accurate diagnostic tool than the scans often used today.
