Rodney Rogers: Former NBA Player may Become Another Voice on Behalf of People with Disabilities

Rodney Rogers played 12 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was a well known player that was a significant contributor on some of the NBA's best teams during his career. In 2008 he sustained a spinal cord injury (SCI) as a result of an accident from riding dirt bikes. Not only does Rodney's accident show that everyone has the possibility of sustaining a life-altering injury, but more importantly is what Rodney is doing with his life after his accident. After his accident, Rodney flat-lined three times. He believes that he was brought back to life in order to provide spinal cord injury awareness to others.
