Florida Spinal Cord Injury Resource Center Creates Legal Guide

The Florida Spinal Cord Injury Resource Center (FSCIRC) has created: "A Guide to Selecting an Attorney for Florida Spinal Cord Injury Cases" in partnership with Michael K. Beck, Esq., creator of The guide was created by people with spinal cord injuries and family members of people with spinal cord injuries in order to give an insider's look at how to pick an attorney in a spinal cord injury case.

This comprehensive guide will help people with new spinal cord injuries navigate the new world of insurance, law and medical benefits by selecting the appropriate attorney to help them get through the maze of paperwork after a spinal cord injury.

FSCIRC was established in January 1994 and serves as the statewide clearinghouse of SCI resource information for persons who have survived an SCI, their families and friends, health care professionals, support groups, the media and the general public. FSCIRC maintains resources, advocates for independence, recruits and assigns peer mentors, and is the first source for people with new spinal cord injuries in Florida to turn for assistance in understanding their new life.
