The World Cup will Begin with a Kick by a Paraplegic
In Brazil this June, the World Cup will begin with a paraplegic kicking a soccer ball through the use of a mind-controlled exoskeleton. The exoskeleton supports the lower half of the body. The paralyzed user has wireless electrodes attached to their head that collect brainwaves which signal the suit to move.
